RELATED FAQ

- Q: How long can I wear a tampon?

- A: When using tampons, it's important to choose the lowest absorbency necessary for your menstrual flow. And because the amount of flow varies from day to day, it's likely that you will need to use different absorbencies on different days of your period. Selecting the right absorbency comes with experience, but as a guide, if a tampon absorbs as much as it can and has to be changed before 4 hours, then you may want to try a higher absorbency. On the other hand, if you remove a tampon and after 4-8 hours white fibre is still showing, you should choose a lower absorbency.

Worst tampons I've bought in a while

These look pretty and yes they are very discreet, however, they just don't do the job. I've been using tampax for many years and this is the worst version I've ever purchased. I've been in work an hour and I already need to change it. That does not happen with any of the others. Unfortunately, as I bought them on a deal, I've got two boxes to get through, but given how quickly they need to be changed, I should get through them pretty quickly...

No, I do not recommend this product.

One Applicator was Actually Empty

Quite possibly the worst tampon I've ever used. I'm from the states and have been using Tampax original for my whole life, happily, and have even used the compak equivalent (Pocket) in the US as well. Bought these over in London thinking they would be the same, but wow. Not a single applicator actually pushed the cotton out as expected, so I had to adjust manually every time. There was even an empty applicator- kid you not- which is unsurprising really given the ineffectiveness of the applicator in the first place, the cotton could've just fallen out. Wow. Truly in disbelief at the terrible quality of this product from a brand I've loved and sworn by for so long.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Painful

The most uncomfortable tampons I have ever used actually painful to have in! How they pride themselves on comfort I do not know. After speaking with friends they agreed with me and would not use again.

Tampon applicator

Numerous attempts to successfully insert tampon with the applicator. Not the most hygienic for this reason.

Terrible Design

Having happily used applicator tampax for years i thought id give the new Compak Pearl a go.I wish i hadn't bothered! The applicator failed on EVERY tampon which was hugely annoying!I took the second box back and will be searching for an alternative now. Tampax....listen to your customers and ditch or fix this product...it's awful!

No, I do not recommend this product.

TERRIBLE APPLICATOR

Terrible applicator. It doesn't click into place, and it is not long enough to insert the tampon properly. You need to use several tampons to just get one that works. The previous compak's were great. These are a disaster. I will not be buying.

No, I do not recommend this product.
