Every body, and every period, is different. When it comes to period protection, you've got options.

What is a menstrual cup?

Instead of absorbing blood like tampons and pads, a menstrual cup collects it. This means you can use it over and over again. That's good news for your purse, bathroom bins, and the planet!

Live life without interruptions

The Tampax menstrual cup gives you 12 hours of leak-free protection, so you can keep living your life, even when you're on your period. Use it throughout your entire cycle or just on your heavier days. It's up to you.

Designed for comfort

The unique softCurve form is made for women of all shapes and suitable for any lifestyle. Live your life without worrying about your menstrual cup leaking or slipping – even during a morning workout, belly laugh, or triple sneeze.

The Tampax difference

The Tampax Menstrual Cup looks a little different than other menstrual cups. When we designed the Tampax Cup, comfort was behind every choice we made. For example, we learned that a few millimetres in width and a U-shape make a big difference. Creating a short, rounded stem also means you can wear it all day without feeling it.

Made for people with periods by people who get them.

We get you. And your body. So, when we developed our menstrual cup, we got help from period experts – other people with periods:

  • our female-led research team collaborated with an OB-GYN on design
  • we tested multiple cups with people who get periods to understand fit and comfort
  • we developed our own MRI imaging to learn about cup positioning within the body

Don’t just take our word for it
